CMA believes that one of the pillars in developing a market mechanism is learning and sharing of knowledge. In order to enhance the knowledge of market professionals, learning has to be a continuous process and imparting training plays an important role in the learning process.

Realizing this need, Credit Market Services Limited is taking the initiative of setting up a Global Institute of Treasury & Credit Markets (GTCM). GTCM is committed to providing specialized training and certification programs for Treasury & Credit market professionals. These programs would cater to the needs of issuers, intermediaries, professionals and academia, who are engaged in the treasury and credit market activities.

Courses are being designed in such a manner that they would address the learning and development needs of people who may be commencing their careers in the field of Treasury & Credit Management through to the Managerial level. These certification courses would provide an in-depth understanding of credit markets and focus on topics such as derivatives, leveraged finance, distressed debts, structured products, securitization, Basel II, fixed-income markets etc. GTCM will enter into tie up with educational institutions (International and Indian) to offer these programs.
